Kuraray: GG

The  Kuraray GG is activated coconut carbon designed for general gas adsorption applications. It exhibits excellent adsorption characteristics for low molecular weight gas applications such as respirator masks, refrigerator deodorant, room air filters, obnoxious odor removal and toxic gas applications. The activated carbon sizes can be slectable based on the application needs: i.e. granular mesh sizes or palletized.

Gas Adsorption Applications

Kuraray GG has been used for trapping of the following gases: Isoprene, IPA, Chroloform, Pyridine, Xylene, Toluene, etc. An example of  GG:4x8 and 4mm pelletized activated carbon is shown below.
